Stop and Smell the Flowers!


Nature is a beautiful thing, some science suggests just spending a few minuets a day looking at nature promotes health and happiness. If your interested in having a personal garden remember to plant things far enough from your home that you don't effect the grading, don't allow for plants to touch the siding giving an access for insects and casting shade, and leave at least an 18inch walkway for any future servicing around the perimeter. Do consider a soaker hose timed sprinkler system, and low maintenance plants. You want to spend time admiring them, not necessarily taking care of them. I fondly remember my grandmothers thinkin' bench surrounded by flowers and English ivy. Can you think of a moment in nature that you cherish?
