Your Water Sampling

At Anthem Services we want to ensure you have the information you need to keep you and your family safe. Drinking water from municipality sources is regularly tested and safe to consume. The United States has some of the best public drinking water in the world. When that water goes from the municipality to your home it can be impacted by the materials and age of the water distribution system within the home. lead pipes, lead solder, cast pipes all can contribute to unhealthy drinking water. Considering the ramifications of poor drinking water we recommend having your water tested regardless of age or source.

To ensure we can collect a good sample the water should not be used 6-18 hours before sampling. This includes; making coffee, showers, running a hose, brushing teeth Etc. Please make the appropriate arrangements so that the water sample is accurate. Some things you can do include; purchasing a gallon of water for your use, filling a pitcher, preparing the coffee pot the night before Etc. We will do our best to collect a water sample early in the day so that the daily lives of the occupants are minimally effected.

If you are on a well system is it suggested that your water be tested annually. Some areas are especially prone to contaminants entering the water source. If you are in a high traffic area, near railroads or agricultural areas you should have your water tested regularly.
